Type: general-purpose alkyd primer.

Sphere of application: the primer is intended for priming metal and wooden surfaces for coating with various enamels as well as for temporary corrosion protection in the single-layer coating of large-dimensioned metal structures for the installation and storage period.
Properties: the primer ensures the excellent corrosion protection of metal surfaces under various climatic conditions. The primer is resistant to variation of temperature from minus 50°C to plus 60°C. After drying, the coatings based of the GF-0119 primer cause no adverse impact on the human organism.
Surface preparation: the surface to be painted shall be dry, clean and degreased.
Coating application: prior to application, the GF-0119 primer shall be stirred thoroughly. In case of formation of a film on the primer surface during the storage, such film should be removed prior to application of the varnish. The primer shall be applied by air-stream spraying including that in the electrostatic field, dipping, flow coating or by means of a brush. Prior to application, the primer shall be diluted with solvent, xylene or mixture of one of the above solvents with white spirit (S4 155/200 petroleum solvent) in proportion of 1:1. In case of painting in electric field, the primer shall be diluted with RE-4V thinner. Primer consumption for a single-layer coating: 60-100 g/m2.
Safety precautions: when performing the painting works as well as after finishing them, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Keep away from fire! Warranty period: 6 months from the date of manufacture.
