Sphere of application
Sodium of grades A and B is used in producing glass of any kind, including as follows: crystal, optical and medical glass, glass bricks, foam glass, soluble sodium silicate, ceramic tile, glaze frit; in iron and non-ferrous industry: for producing lead, zinc, wolframium, strontium, chrome, for cast iron desulfurization and phosphorus removal, in purification of exit gases, for media neutralization. For lamp glass production, sodium carbonate of grade A, premium quality, with a strict standardized granulometric composition is used. Sodium carbonate of grade B is used in chemical industry for producing synthetic detergents and fatty acids, in brine treatment, in production of phosphorous, chrome, barium, sodium salts as carbonate containing raw material, in production of glycerin, allyl alcohol; in pulp and paper, aniline-ink, paint and oil industries.
