Synonyms: phosphoric acid, О-phosphoric acid
Chemical formula: H3PO4
International name: Phosphoric acid, Orthophosphoric acid

Grade: import, pure, GOST 6552-80 rev. 1,2
Appearance: odorless colorless liquid
Orthophosphoric acid (phosphoric acid) is inorganic acid, which is under normal conditions colorless hygroscopic crystals. AT a temperature above 213°C, orthophosphoric acid turns into pyrophosphoric acid H4P2O7. It is very soluble in water. Often, 85% aqueous solution (colorless syrupy odorless liquid) is called orthophosphoric (or simply phosphoric) acid. It is soluble even in ethanol and other solvents.
Production
In industry, orthophosphoric acid (phosphoric acid, О-phosphoric acid) is produced by extraction (sulfuric) or thermal methods. Extraction method is natural phosphate decomposition with sulphuric and phosphoric acids followed by formed acid and insoluble CaSO4 separation using filters. Thermal method is based on phosphorus combustion to phosphoric anhydride P4O10 and hydration of the former with P4O10 + 6H2O = 4H3PO4.
Application
Commercial phosphoric acid is a critical semiproduct for production of phosphoric and combined fertilizers and technical phosphates, it is widely used for metal phosphating, as a catalyst in organic synthesis. Food phosphoric acid is used for production of soft drinks, drug products, dental cements, etc.

Sphere of application
We offer orthophosphoric acid. It is used for metal purification from rust (in addition, it prevents from further corrosion), as a flux when soldering, as a component of refrigerant agents, in food industry – as an acidity regulator. You can buy orthophosphoric acid in various packages.
