Sodium hydrocarbonate (bicarbonate) is white odorless crystalline powder. Chemical formula: NaHCO3.
Sphere of application
In chemical industry: for production of dyes, insulating foams and other organic products, fluoride chemicals, household products, fillings in fire extinguishers.
In consumer goods industry: in production of sole rubbers and artificial leather, tanning industry (tanning and neutralization of leather), textile industry (finishing of silk and cotton cloth). In food industry: in bread baking, confectionery, production of beverages.
Specifications
Sodium hydrocarbonate is not toxic, fire and explosion safe. Sodium bicarbonate is packed in 40 kg polypropylene bags. Sodium bicarbonate intended for retail sale is packed into 500 g packs laid in blocks into shrink wrap. 4 kg blocks are further laid into 32 kg paper bags. Sodium hydrocarbonate is transported by all means of transport (except for by air) in covered vehicles.
