Sphere of application
The main purpose of the NTs-62 varnish is coating of metal surfaces (alloys of non-ferrous and ferrous metals) and wood. It is also suitable for coloring of glass, paper and other materials. This varnish has a number of advantages including the strength of the coating and protection against chemical attack of gasoline and organic oils. Good heat resistance may be also noted.
Application method
Before applying the varnish, it is recommended to prepare the surface: clean the surface from the dirt and dust deposit, and then degrease it. Keep in mind that the varnish should be applied to the dry surface. The methods of its application are the same as those for many other varnishes: pouring, dipping of the part to be treated, ordinary painting by means of a brush and spraying. Immediately prior to application, mix the varnish with 646 solvent to impart the viscosity required for work to the mixture. Apply the varnish on the article in a thin layer and wait for its drying; the procedure may be repeated again as necessary.
Specifications
The varnish is produced in blue, green and red colors as well as in colorless variant.
Warranty period: 12 months.
Consumption: 70 to 100 g/m2.
Under heat treatment at a temperature of 200°C, the coating dries up within approximately 20 minutes after applying the varnish.
