Type: alkyd pentaphtol varnish.
Sphere of application: it is intended for making a coating on wooden and metal surfaces (unpainted or painted earlier with oil-base paints) to be used indoors and under atmospheric conditions.
Properties: the varnish ensures the obtaining of a transparent highly glossy decorative coating.
Surface preparation: before applying the varnish, the wooden surface shall be preliminarily sanded and cleaned from dust. The metal surface shall be cleaned from fatty and other contaminants, rust and scale using abrasive cloth and degreased using solvent.
Coating application: prior to application, the PF-283 varnish shall be stirred thoroughly. In case of formation of a film on the varnish surface during the storage, such film should be removed prior to application of the varnish. If necessary, the varnish shall be diluted prior to application with turpentine or its mixture with white spirit in proportion of 1:1. The varnish shall be applied to the surface by means of a brush or spray gun. Drying time at a temperature of (20±2)оС is 36 hours. The varnish consumption for a single-layer coating is 70-75 g/m2.
Storage: keep the varnish in a tightly closed container ensuring the protection against moisture and direct sunlight.
Safety precautions: when performing the painting works as well as after finishing them, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Keep away from fire!
Warranty period: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
