Type: enamel based on E-41 epoxy resin.
Sphere of application: it is intended for painting of metal surfaces exposed to hot solutions of alkalis, which are either not primed or primed with EP-0010 or EP-0020 filling primers.
Properties: the enamel consists of two components: the semimanufactured enamel and hardener No. 1. The components shall be mixed prior to application; in so doing 3.5 weight parts of hardener No. 1 per 100 weight parts of the semimanufactured enamel shall be taken. The prepared enamel shall be used within 24 hours.
Surface preparation: the surface to be painted shall be dry, clean and degreased.
Coating application: to dilute the enamel, the solvent 646 shall be used. Prior to application, the enamel shall be stirred thoroughly. The enamel shall be applied by air-stream spraying; it is allowed to use a brush to paint the hard-to-reach places. Consumption: 75-90 g/m2 per layer.
Safety precautions: when performing the painting works as well as after finishing them, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Keep the enamel in a tightly closed container ensuring the protection against moisture and direct sunlight.
