TU 6-10-2002-85
Film Color: Henna, gray
Type: suspension of pigments in the solution of copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate in the blend of organic solvents with addition of epoxy resin, plasticizer, corrosion inhibitor and rust converter solution.
Sphere of application: it is intended for painting of metal surfaces with the residues of tightly stuck rust (with the corrosion product layer thickness of up to 100 μm) exposed to the industrial atmosphere containing aggressive gases and vapors as an independent coating as well as for providing the protection in the complex multilayer coating with weather-proof enamels and varnishes of the KhS, KhV, EP, ML or PF type, equipment and metal structures exposed to salts, aggressive gases and other chemical reagents with the temperature of not above 60°С.
Properties: it forms chemically resistant coating. The film is smooth, uniform, free of sags and foreign inclusions.
Surface preparation: the surface to be painted shall be cleaned from loose rust and loose coating, and degreased. The residual hard layer of rust shall not be thicker than 100 μm. The compound shall be applied not later than after 6 hours from the moment of preparation of the surface.
Coating application: prior to application, hardener No.5 (TU 6-10-1093) shall be added to the semimanufactured product in the following mass proportion: 2.6 weight parts of hardener No.5 shall be taken per 100 weight parts of the semimanufactured compound. The compound shall be diluted to the working viscosity with the R-4 or R-4A solvent as per GOST 7827. In case of application by air-stream spraying or brush, the compound shall be applied without dilution.
The consumption per layer of the coating with the thickness of 25 μm is 130 to 160 g/m2.
Safety precautions: when performing the painting works as well as after finishing them, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Keep the enamel in a tightly closed container ensuring the protection against moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep away from fire!
