Type: based on chlorinated polyvinyl-chloride resin and alkyd resin with addition of plasticizer.
Sphere of application: they are intended for painting of primed metal surfaces as well as wooden surfaces to be operated outdoors.
Properties: the coating system consisting of three layers of KhV-124 enamel applied onto a primed surface shall preserve the protective properties under the temperate climate conditions for 6 years. The coating system consisting of four layers of enamel applied onto the phosphatized surface primed with two layers of FL-03K primer shall preserve the protective properties under the tropical climate conditions for 3 years. The coating system consisting of three layers of enamel applied onto the surface primed with AK-070 or VL-02 primer with aluminum powder shall preserve the protective properties under the cold climate conditions for 4 years. After having been dried, the enamel film colored gray or khaki shall be uniform and free of wrinkles, pock marks, sags and foreign inclusions.
Surface preparation: the surface shall be clean and dry.
Coating application: prior to application, the enamel shall be stirred thoroughly and diluted to the working viscosity with R-4A solvent. The enamel shall be applied by the air-stream or airless spraying methods. It is allowed to apply the enamels by the electrostatic spraying; in this case, the enamel shall be diluted to the working viscosity with special thinners.
Safety precautions: when performing the painting works as well as after finishing them, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Keep the enamel in a tightly closed container ensuring the protection against moisture and direct sunlight. Keep away from fire!
Warranty period: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
