Main properties
The coatings based on primers are resistant to temperature variations from minus 60°С to plus 100°С. The coatings consisting of primers are to be overcovered with materials of PF, GF, EF, EP, FL, AS, KO and other types. The application of primers ensures high adhesion, durability and corrosion resistance of the varnish-and-paint coating system as a whole.
Sphere of application
FL-03 K: for priming the surfaces of ferrous metals, copper and titanium alloys as well as of wooden surfaces; FL-03 Zh: – for priming the surfaces of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, copper and titanium alloys as well as of wooden surfaces. The priming is allowed to be used in the shipbuilding industry and for the ship repair.
Specifications
Material based on phenol-alkyd resins with addition of siccative. Color: gray, brown, yellow-green and others. Methods of application: by means of a brush, roller, air-stream or airless spraying including spraying in the electric field and dipping. It is allowed to apply the FL-03 K to the surface by the flow-coating method. Time of drying to degree 3 is no more than 8 hours at (20±2)°С and no more than 35 minutes at (105±5)°С. Primer consumption: 50-100 g/m2 per layer depending on the application method. Thickness of a single layer: 15-20 μm. Recommended number of layers: 1-2.
