Sphere of application
It is used for priming the parts of aluminum, magnesium and titanium alloys as well as carbon and stainless steel. The primers have good adhesion properties; the coating in a thin layer ensures high weather and heat resistance and mechanical strength of the film.
The primer shall be applied to the surface by spraying or by means of a brush. Prior to application, it shall be diluted with the 648 or R-5A solvent. Consumption for a single-layer coating: 115-153 g/m2 subject to meeting the requirements for preparation of the surface, application of materials and drying of coatings in accordance with the reference literature (“Paint-and-Lacquer Coating. Technology and Equipment”. Published in Moscow. Chemistry, 1992).
It is allowed to:
1) apply the primer over ferrous metals, corrosion-resistant steel, cadmium-plated, zinc-galvanized steel, copper, aluminum, magnesium and titanium alloys;
2) use the coating in the zones with temperate climate; dry and humid tropical climate and cold climate;
3) use the primer under the KhV, AS, AK, EP, PF, NTs, KhS, ML enamels.
It ensures the resistance of the coating systems to fresh water and its vapors; sea water; mineral oils and lubricants; gasoline, kerosene and other oil products; attack of aggressive gases, solutions of acids and salts, alkalis and basic salts, neutral salts including that under action of electric current.
Guaranteed shelf life: 6 months from the date of manufacture.
