Type: paste-like suspension of zinc dust in the solution of epoxy resin with addition of RTsL solvent hardener and other target additive.
Sphere of application: it is intended for corrosion protection (in a complex coating with enamels) of metal surfaces of carbon steel under atmospheric and increased-humidity conditions.
Properties: combustible instantly flammable liquid.
Surface preparation: clean the surface thoroughly from dust and any other contaminants.
Coating application: 30 minutes prior to application, the E-45 hardener shall be added to TsinkoLid semimanufactured primer with thorough stirring in proportion of 5 g of hardener per 100 g of the semimanufactured enamel and brought to the working viscosity of 16-20 s using the RTsL solvent and filtered through a mesh. After mixing, the primer retains the painting properties for at least 12 hours. The primer shall be applied to the preliminarily cleaned and degreased steel surfaces by means of a spray gun to the total thickness of at least 60 μm. Drying time is 3 hours per layer. If the primer is to be applied by spraying or by means of a brush or roller, it shall be diluted as necessary with the RTsL solvent. The enamels shall be applied over the TsinkoLid primer to the thickness of at least 35 μm. The following enamels are recommended as finishing ones: KhS-119, KhV-16, KhV-124 and EP-1236. Primer consumption for a single-layer coating: 350-450 g/m2.
Safety precautions: when performing the painting works as well as after finishing them, it is necessary to ventilate the room thoroughly. Use rubber gloves to protect your hands. Keep the enamel in a tightly closed container ensuring the protection against moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep away from fire! Warranty period of the semimanufactured primer: 6 months from the date of manufacture.
