Stannic sulphate (SnSO4) is a white powder, small colorless leaves with pearly luster.
Production:
Method of stannic sulphate production from tin chloride or diluted solutions of other salts based on effective tin sorption by cationite from neutral or subacid solutions (up to 2 n. HjSCu) and its light desorbance in concentrated sulphuric acid solutions has been developed. Product yield of Grade AR is 87%, when using the stock solution – not less than 95%.
Application:
Stannic sulphate is used in galvanics, for coating details with tin, in laboratory practice, etc.
