Production
Magnesium sulphate (magnesium sulfate) is produced by interaction of magnesite with sulfuric acid followed by filtration, crystallization and drying in a drying cylinder.
Application of Magnesium Sulphate
Magnesium sulphate is used as follows:
- in agriculture as a fertilizer,
- in production of synthetic detergents,
- for production of feeding yeast,
- in leather industry,
- in chemical industry, etc.
