Monoethanolamine is a liquid with a characteristic odor, soluble in water in all proportions, slightly-soluble in benzine, toluene and ether.
Range of application
It is used in oil and gas industry for the absorption of acid gases and sulfur-containing organic compounds, monoethanolamine of premium and first grades is also used in pharmaceutical, textile and paint-and-varnish industry, in the production of plastics.
