Application
Soda nitrate (technical sodium nitrate, sodium nitrate, chile nitrate) is designed for chemical, glass, metallurgical, pipe and other industry sectors, for export supplies, and for retail trading as a fertilizer.
Depending on the application area, soda nitrate is produced in two grades:
- A – for the production of fluxing agents when soldering and welding metals, the production of reagents, pyrotechnic mixtures, optical glass, crystal glass, and in the industries where admixtures of oxidizers expressed as NaNO2 are strictly limited.
- B – for metal etching, the melting of tungsten lump scraps, technical glass refining and for retail trading.
